The American Ultra II Stratocaster is the top of Fender's US production line, built for players who want a fast, modern feel. It has a select alder body with extra contours and a sculpted neck heel, and a quartersawn maple neck in a Modern D profile.
The ebony fingerboard has a 10 to 14 inch compound radius, rolled edges and Luminlay side dots. Ultra II Noiseless Vintage pickups give Strat tone without hum, and the S-1 switch adds the neck pickup in any position. Short-post locking tuners and a 2-point tremolo with stainless steel block saddles keep tuning steady.
