The Player II Telecaster is the Mexican-made Tele that sits between the Standard and the American lines. It has an alder body, a Modern C maple neck and a 9.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges, so it feels broken in the first time you pick it up.

Two Player Series alnico V single-coil Tele pickups give the classic neck chime and bridge twang, and the 6-saddle string-through bridge with block steel saddles keeps intonation precise. ClassicGear tuners and aged plastic parts finish it off. Birch Green is one of the new colors Fender pulled from its archives.
