The G2420T is the single-cutaway Streamliner, a fully hollow arched maple body with parallel tone bars that gives it the big-body Gretsch sound at a price that makes sense for a first hollow body. The nato neck has a soft C shape and a 12 inch radius laurel fingerboard with pearloid Neo Classic thumbnail inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets.

Two Broad'Tron BT-3S humbuckers mix alnico 5 and alnico 2 magnets for strong mids and clear highs, and a push/pull on the master volume splits them to single coil. The Adjusto-Matic bridge sits on a secured laurel base and the Bigsby B60 vibrato handles the shimmer. Real bone nut, nickel hardware, three-ply tortoise pickguard.
