The Shubb capo uses an over-center locking lever instead of a spring. You set the pressure once with the thumb screw, then one flip of the lever locks it on and takes it off, with far less pull on the strings and better tuning.

The C1 fits most steel string acoustic and electric guitars. It is machined of solid brass with a polished nickel finish.
