The Sonic Stratocaster HT H strips the Strat down to one humbucking pickup at the bridge, a volume control and a hardtail bridge. It is the Squier for a beginner who already knows they want to play rock, punk or metal and does not need five pickup positions to find a sound.

The thin poplar body and slim C maple neck are the same as the rest of the Sonic line, light and easy. Sonic Blue with a white pickguard is a vintage Fender color on a modern guitar.
