The 114ce is the Taylor many players start with. The Grand Auditorium body works for strumming and fingerpicking alike, and the solid Sitka spruce top gives a clear, rich sound. Back and sides are layered sapele.

The neck is easy to fret with low action, and the cutaway opens up the high frets. Taylor's ES2 pickup gives a clean plugged-in tone. A padded gig bag is included.
