The FG800J is Yamaha's standard dreadnought and one of the easiest guitars to recommend to a new player. It has a solid spruce top over nato back and sides, with scalloped bracing that gives it a strong low end and plenty of volume for strumming.

The slim nato neck and rosewood fingerboard are comfortable for first chords and still feel right years later. We set up every guitar in our shop before it ships, so it arrives ready to play.
