The JR1 is a 3/4-size steel-string guitar modeled on Yamaha's FG series. The short scale and small body fit younger players well, and it doubles as a travel guitar for adults who want something easy to carry.

It has a spruce top, a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and chrome tuners. A gig bag is included.
